A prenuptial agreement is not unlike a prenuptial agreement except that it is created during a marriage. During a marriage circumstances may arise in which the use of an agreement will avoid a divorce or there is a need to consider the protection of assets. The law permits Post Nuptial Agreements and will enforce the terms. I have been able to counsel numerous spouses on the use of postnuptial agreement and have been involved in the negotiation and drafting of these agreements.
